Why give?

  • ✽

    HONOR A VETERAN
Help us place a permanent American flag in the yard of a veteran along the RAGBRAI route.

  • ✽

    PUT FLAGS WHERE THEY BELONG
Your support helps provide the flagpoles, flags, hardware, and installation needed to honor veterans at no cost to them.

  • ✽

    KEEP IT LOCAL
FLAGBRAI connects riders, communities, volunteers, and veterans along Iowa's roads and towns.

  • ✽

    MAKE THE MILE MEAN SOMETHING
Every mile of RAGBRAI carries a story. We bring those stories to the roadside and make sure veterans are remembered along the way.

  • ✽

    HELP US REACH MORE VETERANS
Each year, we identify veterans living along the RAGBRAI route and coordinate installations with their families and communities.

  • ✽

    BE PART OF THE MISSION
Financial support isn't the only way to help. We need volunteers, logistics support, equipment, transportation, and community partners.

EVERY VETERAN DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED and honored.

Putting a flagpole in the yard of a veteran is a small token of appreciation for someone who sacrificed so much more.
