Ride. Remember. Honor.
Ride. Remember. Honor.
FLAGBRAI is a RAGBRAI project of Veteran Flagpole Initiative (VFI). Each year, we ride across Iowa to honor veterans by installing American flags and flagpoles along the route.
Every mile of RAGBRAI passes through communities filled with stories of service and sacrifice. FLAGBRAI brings those stories to the roadside—one flag, one veteran, and one mile at a time.
FLAGS. VETERANS. ONE MILE AT A TIME
Every year, FLAGBRAI rides across Iowa with a simple mission: honor veterans by placing American flags and veteran memorials along the RAGBRAI route.
What started as a ride has become a moving tribute—connecting cyclists, communities, and veterans mile after mile.
